Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Spotted In Hats And Face Masks During Rare Beverly Hills Outing

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in quarantine at Tyler Perry’s mansion since moving to Los Angeles in late March, but they have ventured out a couple of times to help with local charities. This past week, cameras caught the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepping out for an appointment in Beverly Hills while wearing hats and face masks, but they were slammed in the UK tabloids for driving a “gas guzzling Cadillac SUV.”

In the photos obtained by The Daily Mail, Markle wore a $76 loose-fitting, asymmetric cream Magic Linen dress with black Sam Edelman ballet flats. Her accessories included a large Janessa Leone Sammy straw hat, sunglasses, a gold watch, a cross-body purse, and a beige face mask.

"It's not going to be easy and in some cases it's not going to be comfortable, but it needs to be done"

Harry wore a gray polo shirt with jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap. He also wore a mask while picking up the Cadillac from the valet, as masks are now required in all public places in California.

The parents of one-year-old Archie Harrison spoke out often about environmental issues when they were senior members of the royal family, and they will continue to do so with their Archewell Foundation.

Driving a Cadillac Escalade with its “gas-guzzling six liter engine” has led UK tabloids to look up online reviews for the vehicle and point out that it is “as far from environmentally-friendly as you can get.”

Harry and Meghan have also signed with the Harry Walker Agency – which is a high-profile firm that represents a slew of A-list clients – and will reportedly earn up to $1 million per speech when they can book speaking engagements after the COVID-19 pandemic.

For those who were hoping the couple would speak about the royal family, an insider says that Meghan and Harry have no plans to do any speaking engagements about the House of Windsor or their former lives as senior royals.

The source says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “firmly committed to social issues the world is facing now, including racial justice, gender equity and mental health,” and that is their focus.
