Coco Rocha announced several weeks ago that she’s expecting a baby, and now we know what the supermodel is having; it’s a girl! It’ll be a lot of pink, bows and girly things in the Rocha household as the model is expecting her first children with husband James Conran, an artist. She may not be a mother just yet, but she already knows what she needs to know; she’s having a girl and it’s time to start the baby shopping. Few things in life are as exciting as shopping for a baby.
“Now we finally started shopping. I had shopped for nothing, it was just one of those things where it you don’t know who, it felt funny. So now I know who you are, I’m so excited,” said the 26-year-old mother-to-be. And like any other first-time parents-to-be, she can’t stop buying things for her daughter. She found out a week ago that the baby is a girl, and she’s been a bit baby obsessed since then.
“We can’t stop! I know sometimes you have to actually stop and work, and so in between, we’re looking at Gilt and Toys R Us and Buy Buy Baby,” she goes on. The baby is due sometime in the spring of 2015, and there is no doubt she will be one very loved little girl.
As far as names are concerned, the couple is not certain yet what they will call their daughter. Rocha shared that she actually was convinced the baby was a boy so she was completely prepared to name her baby boy and had one already picked out. Now she can’t use it, and she’s back to square one thinking of names that will suit her daughter. As long as it’s nothing like Dweezle or Moonshine, we’re sure she can come up with something fitting.
